Carrie Milner is in her third year as athletic trainer at the University of Rhode Island in 2018-19, working primarily with the women's soccer and rowing teams.
Milner comes to URI from nearby Providence College, where she served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer from 2014-16. While earning her Master's degree in counseling, she worked with the women's soccer and softball programs.
A native of Middletown, N.Y., Milner arrived in Rhode Island after graduating from SUNY Cortland in 2012, having earned her bachelor's degree in Athletic Training. There she worked with women's gymnastics, men's lacrosse and football. She then spent two years as an intern athletic trainer at Bryant University, working with women's volleyball, women's lacrosse and men's and women's tennis.
