Rhody women's track and field finished day one of competition at the New England Outdoor Championship in secondp place with 18 team points. Dartmouth leads all teams with 45 points after seven events scored.
- Mikaila Amerantes was first in the 400 meter hurdle prelims, qualifying for the finals in 55.93 seconds. Kelly MacDonnell (56.40s) and Bethany DeLoof (56.65s) join her in the final.
- Trinity Smith (14.34s) and Gabrielle Curtis (14.35s) both qualified for the 100 meter hurdles.
Highlights from Competition
- Julia Campezato placed third in the javelin with a mark of 41.49 meters. Leah Wolf also earned points for the Rams, finishing seventh (40.31m).
- In the hammer throw, both Molly Botts (51.34m) and Samantha Andrews (50.78m) earned points for the Rams.
