KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhode Island grad student Lotte Black has been named to her third straight Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team, the league announced Friday. Black earned All-Academic honors last outdoor and indoor season.

Black continued her impressive career this past indoor season, breaking four school records in the 3000m (9:10.30 at BU Season Opener), mile (twice, first 4:36.50 at Terrier Classic and then 4:36.35 at BU Valentine Invite), and 1000 meter (2:44.64 at New England Championship).

Her 1000-meter time earned her the New England Indoor Championship crown for the second straight year. Black also earned her second consecutive title in the mile (4:52.32) at the 2020 Atlantic 10 Indoor Championship. She was runner-up in the 800 meter with a time of 2:08.22.

Black qualified for her third NCAA Championship after breaking her own program record at the BU Valentine Invite earlier this year (4:36.35).

She owns a 3.95 gpa as a graduate student studying Kinesiology, and was named the Atlantic 10 Track Performer of the Week four times this season.
